Create New Permission

Instructions

  • Sign into your account.
  • Select the desired tenant.
  • Go to the “PERMISSIONS” section on the left top side of the screen.

  • On the right-hand side, click on the ADD PERMISSION button.

  • Go to the Applications drown-down menu.

  • Select the client application associated with this specific permission (e.g. My App Name).

  • In Name and Description, give this permission a name (e.g. auth.clients.list) and a description.

  • The permission is now created.

What’s Next?

Add Permissions to new or existing Roles

  • Permissions don’t function by themselves. They need to be combined into roles. Permissions can be assigned to an existing role, or a new role can be created for the given client application.
  • To create a new role or to update an existing role, go to the ROLES section.
